About Sarah
Sarah Chen is NexLab's Chief Technology Officer, responsible for the company's technical vision and engineering culture. With a Ph.D. in Distributed Systems from Stanford University, Sarah brings world-class expertise in building systems that operate at enormous scale.
Prior to joining NexLab, Sarah spent six years at Google, where she was a Tech Lead on the Cloud AI Platform team, contributing to TensorFlow Serving and Vertex AI. Her work on model serving infrastructure has been cited in numerous academic papers and industry publications.
At NexLab, Sarah oversees the architecture of all client projects and internal R&D. She designed NexLab's proprietary agentic AI framework, which enables autonomous digital workers to reason, plan, and execute complex enterprise workflows. She is passionate about building systems that are not only powerful but also maintainable, secure, and cost-effective.
